Fly Tying

Postby Prybis » Nov Sat 28, 2015 4:26 pm

I have been wanting to tie up some simple foam hoppers. The only problem was cutting the foam and keeping it uniform from one fly to the next. With this in mind, I had Flymasters order me a set of the hopper/caddis/ant cutters from River Road Creations. I got this idea from watching a video on youtube called the slum hopper. This is a very easy and quick fly to tie. I had a new empty Tacky Big Box Fly box that need some flies. So I decided to tie a few up. Now, I just need to give these a try. Might have to wait till spring but I am sure they will work. Let me know what you think.

They look great. Easy on the old eyes to see.
