Block Head Poppers

Postby Prybis » Jul Mon 25, 2016 2:27 pm

I tied up a couple of Block Head Poppers for some top water action. With new flies, come testing. Went down to my local retention pond and gave them a try. There was not a to of action, but I did manage to get about 7 bass and a couple gills. I took pics of the 2 largest.

Hmmmmm. To be honest, that looks like a good "ice fly". Great work Mike.....as usual.

It does not sink. Will need an ounce to get it done to the bottom.
