What species are we going after?

Postby Salt » Jan Tue 18, 2011 7:44 am

I pulled this off of IS. Thought I would post it.

Mississinewa / Wabash
Surface acres 3180
Max depth 77 ft
Bottom Boulders, gravel, sand, muck, clay
Species Bluegill, Catfish, Crappie, Lmbass, Perch, Smbass

Is this accurate? Will we replace pike with catfish and walleye with bass?

I know there is a walleye fishery there, just don't know how or if any are taken thru the ice. I have caught some east of Red Bridge on the hump during soft water and know of some guys fishing the creek channel edges by the dam during the summer months.

Why not replace pike with catfish for this tourney? Just a thought...
