Scratched a little bit of the itch

Postby Shadrap » Jan Sun 22, 2012 8:17 pm

Finally got on some ice Saturday in the NE. Started around daybreak and finally got the first bite around 2pm. Had 3 gills in the bucket, it was getting close to dark and I started to slowly pack up and then got a bite. Got the fish and had to unload the bucket. Then non stop for about a half an hour right at dark. Thats fishing for ya.

WTG..you deserved it.
Fisherman's Prayer
I pray that I may live to fish
Until my dying day
And when it comes to my last cast,
I then most humbly pray:
When in the Lord's great landing net
And peacefully asleep,
That in His mercy I be Judged
BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.
