Noble County 1/24

Postby infernoxd45 » Jan Mon 25, 2016 9:05 pm

The Frenchman and I hit a local lake yesterday.. The bite was good for the first 1 1/2 hrs until the sun started shining. Gills and crappie were in 7-10ft, gills on the bottom, crappie about 2 ft up. Perch and bass were at 14 on the bottom.. Most were caught on a gold 3mm tungsten with a mousie, some with a Bricker Bug.

Nice job! We found that same thing yesterday with the sun. As long as we stayed in shade the bite stayed constant.

Nice report! Sounds like small size jigs were important for you!! Great mixed bag. Seems like a lot of guys are reporting that early (low light) has been the better bite.
