I talked to a couple of buddies who have made it out the past couple of days but fishing was extremely tough. They were jigging near the reefs but did not have a bite either day. They did say they heard of a couple fish being caught, but they are few and far between. They reported the water temp was only 36-37 degrees and very stained. Looking at the forecast, I don't see any big blows forecasted in the near future so that should help clean up the water. A cold front is coming in Monday with temps in the upper 30's until Wednesday but it looks to be warming up after that. The boat is just about ready to put in the water. I hope to have her in by next week at this time. On a side note, our second child will be entering the world within a week, so the boat might have to wait for a few more days.
