Ive found a few...cool night starts them fruiting. Do a little road trolling and look for white oaks. The local population prefers white oaks over anything. They will continue colonizing a stump....but rarely fruit on a dead fall.
Grifola frondosa moves very slowly in terms of growth and competitor saprobes like oyster mushroom outcompete it on fallen trees. So stick with living trees and the occasional stump.

Chicken mushrooms ( Laetiporus sulphureus) are fruiting again. Honey mushrooms ( Armillaria mellea) and Entoloma abortivum, as well as Lepista nuda ( blewits) are all out right now as well.

WTG Joe. You have enough there to last you until next season.
Fisherman's Prayer
I pray that I may live to fish
Until my dying day
And when it comes to my last cast,
I then most humbly pray:
When in the Lord's great landing net
And peacefully asleep,
That in His mercy I be Judged
BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.
