Thinking about getting this rod. But im not sure about about how stiff its gonna be. I dont want it to be like a noodle rod. And the power and action is confusing me lol. I want a rod around the medium power and fast action. Anyone know how stiff this rod will be?

It appears that would be more "noodley" than you would like.. with a light power and moderate action, the bend will start more towards the middle and the rod won't be especially stiff..

Ok. So it will still have enough back bone?

Being a light power, I don't think so. Granted, I don't salmon fish, but I think your on the right track looking for a medium.
This model would have more backbone

I have a Fenwick 10ft 6 light moderate....its noodly. Not parabolic action , but its good for a float rod. No good for pulling cranbaits and spinners or side drifting/bottom bouncing.
You never see a fishing boat parked in front of a psychiatrists office .....
