New from westfield

Postby beutlerjc » Oct Mon 02, 2017 11:45 pm

Greetings from Westfield. Bass fishing is my go to favorite, but anything that swims is great! I grew up in Michigan and have lived in Indiana for about 5 yrs. now. I found trail Creek and got back into Salmon and steelheading again last year.
Really enjoy these sites, active and informative. Keep the info coming and I'll share too! Tight lines all!

Welcome from Elkhart
Fisherman's Prayer
I pray that I may live to fish
Until my dying day
And when it comes to my last cast,
I then most humbly pray:
When in the Lord's great landing net
And peacefully asleep,
That in His mercy I be Judged
BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.

Welome! I'm close to you, 1.5 miles north of Grand Park. You fish at Morse much? If so much luck with the Bass there?
I don't go there much due to the crowds

I have fished Morse, but I hate having to pay a ramp fee. The fish are good ones in there, but I have just as much fun fishing kokomo reservoir. Just got back from salmon fishing at Michigan City, big fat zero. Still alot of relaxing fun.
