Lake Edgewood Panfish Report

Postby SkeeterJeff » May Sun 21, 2017 2:00 am

Jill and I fished our lake for the first time on Wed. the 17th and Thur. the 18th. Caught and kept 42 Bluegill/Red Ear on Wed. and 44 on Thurs. Kept a few below 8" on Thurs. as we were trying to get enough for our annual Memorial Day Fish Fry for our neighbors. Talked to one of the other residents here on Friday and he showed me two coolers full of Gills and Ears. This lake just keeps producing large panfish year after year.

Used Bee Moths, most were caught in about 5 FOW. They are just now starting to move into the shallows to spawn here.

I should be, I've had plenty of practice, especially since moving to Lake Edgewood!!
