Harden

Anyone have any reports for Raccoon lake? Specifically from shore? I was in the tail waters last weekend but didn't get anything of any size.

What are you fishing for? I usually fish for Carp there and if I stay late enough for cats. I do pretty well. Also catching bluegill, but I usually just use them for bait.

Bluegill, crappie, or largemouth if I'm fishing to actual lake. Got a bunch of 4 inch bluegill in the tail waters last weekend, but obviously would like to hook up with some I can eat!

Ive never had much luck bass fishing there, my buddy own property in a cove across from the beach and fishes there every weekend. He’s switched to carp fishing there from the bank even though he has a boat due to the lack of bass activity. But maybe he’s just doing something wrong lol. Good luck either way.

Fished the dam at Harden last night, didn’t do any good catfishing, I’m not sure how far the rocks went out into the water so may not have been a good spot for it. However my buddy did catch a nice 4+lb bass using a 10in weighted worm. Was an awesome night even with only catching 1 fish.

I have seen some nice cats pulled out of those tailwaters. I'm not a big fan of eating catfish so I don't really fish them. Through a big enough bluegill out there and you'll catch some big cats.

I used 4-5in blue gills 2 live on two poles and also used some cut bait on the other two. Just a slow night, I’ll probably try again soon.
